Meet Dr. Dillard

Dr. Dillard was born and raised, with one older sister, just outside of Clarksville, TN on a horse farm by parents who were both passionate educators. Serving the community, showing compassion for others, and valuing education were central to her upbringing. Those values are deeply instilled in her today.

Dr. Dillard graduated from Clarksville High School with honors and completed her high school education a full year early. She was awarded the Early Admissions Academic Scholarship and commenced her collegiate education at Austin Peay State University majoring in Biology. She continued her education at Tennessee State University where she was the president of her class. She graduated at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.

During Dr. Dillard's last semester at TSU she was accepted to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. She went on to complete the 4 year program a semester early receiving her Doctorate in Dental Surgery.

Following completion of her doctorate, she returned to Nashville in 2002 and opened a solo practice as a start-up with no existing patients and very few contacts in Nashville. Her practice rapidly grew to the thriving business she still enjoys today.

Dr. Dillard's compassion, particularly for those with a history of intense anxiety about visiting the dentist, personal relationships with her patients, and careful attention to their concerns, needs, and desires are the driving force behind this growth. The clearest indicator of patient satisfaction is their word-of-mouth referrals to loved ones and co-workers. In fact, referrals have driven the growth so successfully, that marketing and advertisement has seldom been used.

Dr. Dillard takes great pride and enjoyment in her work, both in the dental services she provides and the overall care for her patients. She regularly participates in providing dental care for the under-served population. She is passionate in supporting Interfaith Dental Clinic and the Nashville Rescue Mission.

Outside of Dr. Dillard's profession, she spends her time with her husband and children Sam, 8 years old, and Katherine 6 years old, and William 3 years old. She and her family are avid adventurers, traveling to a new country each year, as well as to the coasts of New England and the Gulf of Mexico.

While in Nashville she spends her time fishing, boating, enjoying her husband's excellent cooking, camping and mastering crossword puzzles!

You will feel welcomed and with a sense of individual care when visiting our office, and will be encouraged to share your personal concerns and desires. We look forward to including you in our family of patients and are dedicated to satisfying your needs.
